Upperpart grey tone as in Lesser Black-backed Gull, with speckled iris and much head streaking. Large mirrors on outer two primaries, no sub-terminal band on P10. Not very broad white tips of tertials which is normal in Slaty-backed, where it continues on the tips of the secondaries.
