Lesser Black-backed Gull (graellsii & intermedius)

Lesser Black-backed Gull 2CY, August 27 2017, Utrecht, the Netherlands.

P6/P8. S1 new, one missing and rest of secs old juvenile, 2nd gen tail; active moult in R5 left.
Probably most of the tail replaced in late winter, and at this moment the retained last juvenile tail-feathers are replaced as well for 2nd gen.
Many inner wing-coverts were included in that late winter post-juvenile moult, and these feathers are old and bleached by now.
