Lesser Black-backed Gull 2cy, June 24 2013, Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
Bird without ring, hence no provenance on origin. Typical intermedius-like moult: extensive moult on winter grounds, including most (visible) wing-coverts and (upper) tertials. Such birds often have replaced (some) tail-feathers as well.
In this bird R4-R5 still juvenile. Complete moult just started, P1-P2 missing.
