Orbital ring pink, small red gonys spot on yellow bill and yellow iris. Broad tertial crescents and secondary tips. Upperparts grey tone about equal to graellsii Lesser Black-backed Gull. Strong pink, short-looking legs. Mirror on P9 and P10 P10 mirror merged with tip). Note white in neck extending far down on mantle. Already by February most of winter streaking gone.
