LBBG 5cy RY9, Missouriweg - Maasvlakte, the Netherlands, April 29 2002.

An adult bird ringed left white RY9, ringed as pullus at the nest, early July 1998, now in 5cy. Not a strong bird at all, with a friendly facial expression indicating this is a female. Note the small mirro on p10. The outer primaries show small white tips which are worn away already. The white tips, lacking pigmentation, wear away quickly.
Note the 3rd and 6th greater coverts, which are plain grey, lacking the brown hue which can be seen on the other greater coverts. The median coverts seem to be likewise, and look plain grey as well.
