LBBG 2cy, November 08 2001, Westkapelle, the Netherlands.

As seen in many 2cy LBBG, the complete median covert bar, the inner greater coverts, the fourth tertial, most of the scapulars and some randomly lesser coverts have been replaced by third generation grey adult-like feathers.

Note the very neat fringes of the juvenile Herring Gull in front. By November, this is a good indication it belongs to nominate argentatus from Scandinavia.
