Average primary moult score with P7 new and no old primaries left. B14 shows a very common pattern in wing-coverts and scapulars. All feathers are second generation-like with an anchor pattern. The wing-coverts which were replaced first already start to show faded brown colours (e.g. inner median coverts), while the last moulted feathers still have a warm gingery-brown base (lesser coverts in the carpal edge and central greater coverts). B14 was ringed at Maasvlakte, last summer 2002.
