Adult LBBG with P7-P10 still old. Together with the primary moult, moult in the wing-coverts has started as well and the differences between the old brown and new grey feathers are obvious in the image. The upper tertials and inner greater coverts have been shed. The central greater coverts have been shed and expose the secondaries underneath (note the worn white fringes of the secondaries in the image). Most of the median and lower lesser coverts has been replaced but a few old brown feathers can still be detected. The scapulars are a mix of old brown and new dark grey feathers.
The images below: GG 63019 together with adult michahellis., note the slight difference in grey tone of the upper-parts.
