Herring gull 4cy/5cy (argenteus), March 28 2011, IJmuiden, the Netherlands.
Black in old tail feathers, mottled wing coverts, and much black on bill in combination with mirrors on P9 & P10 indicate sub-adultness.Much black in tail suggests 4cy.
