Heuglin's Gull - Larus heuglini

These images were taken in N Norway; the other bird in the pictures is a 2cy Greater Black-backed Gull. A bird comparable to the accepted Heuglin's Gull for Germany, except that this bird has a full set of second generation primaries. The upperparts and inner hand would be extremely pale for fuscus but perfectly fit heuglini. Also note the plain white head and underparts, neck streaking and the long tibia.
