Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus) 3cy, September 30 2001, Boulogne sur Mer, France (50.42 N - 01.34 E).

Again a dark blackish saddle created by the replaced scapulars and mantle, old variegated tertials, greater coverts and lesser coverts. The inner median coverts still show an extensive pattern in the centres. Primary p8 is fully grown.
