Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus) 2cy: June 14 2002, Le Portel - Boulogne sur Mer, France (50.42 N - 01.34 E).

Probably a male.
A delayed moulting bird with p5 missing and rectrices R1 replaced. 
The upper two tertials are second generation. The lower tertails are juvenile All the greater coverts and lesser coverts are still juvenile. The outer median coverts are growing inwards and #1-2 are replaced as well. Medians #3-6 are still juvenile. Only a few lower lesser coverts are missing, many are still juvenile. The lowest row of lower scapulars have been replaced very recently with 5 upper scapulars moulted to third generation.
